BlueLinx Sales Down 6.9% in 2Q

The distributor reported a profit of $3.2 million for the quarter.

BlueLinx Holdings Inc., (NYSE: BXC), Atlanta, GA, reported sales for the second quarter of $474 million, a decrease of 6.9 percent year-over-year. The company reported a profit of $3.2 million, compared to a loss of $3.1 million in the prior year quarter.

For the first six months, the company reported sales of $902.6 million, down 8.2 percent from the same period in 2016. BlueLinx reported a profit of $3.8 million, as compared to a loss of $9.3 million for the same period last year.
