Carlisle Cos. Sales Up 3.7% in 2016

Fourth-quarter sales increase 2 percent year-over-year.

Carlisle Cos. Inc. (NYSE: CSL), Charlotte, NC, reported sales for 2016 of $3.7 billion, an increase of 3.7 percent from the previous year. Profit increased 20 percent to $383.5 million.

Sales for the fourth quarter were $893.5 million, an increase of 2 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 6 percent to $86.6 million.

Construction materials sales for the quarter increased 1 percent to $488.2 million; interconnect technology sales increased 10.9 percent to $210.3 million; fluid technology sales decreased 3.5 percent to $71 million; brake and friction sales decreased 10.9 percent to $60.7 million; and foodservice product sales increased 3.3 percent to $63.3 million.
