Carlisle Organic Sales Grow 1.3 Percent in 3Q

Acquisitions contributed 3.9 percent to 4.6 percent sales growth in the quarter.

Carlisle Companies Inc. (NYSE: CSL), Charlotte, NC, reported sales for the third quarter of $910.2 million, an increase of 4.6 percent over the same period a year ago.

Acquisitions in the Interconnect Technologies and Construction Materials segments contributed 3.9 percent to third-quarter sales; Organic sales growth was 1.3 percent. Profit increased 29.4 percent to $69.5 million.

For the first nine months, sales for Carlisle were $2.7 billion, a 14.3 percent increase over the prior-year period. Profit jumped 57 percent to $222.4 million.
