Danaher Corp. (NYSE: DHR), Washington, D.C., reported sales for the fourth quarter of $5 billion, an increase of 5.5 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Organic sales increased 3.5 percent. Profit increased 10.5 percent to $630.4 million.
For the full year, sales were $18.3 billion, an increase of 13.5 percent compared to the prior year. Profit increased 10.1 percent to $2.4 billion.
