DXP Enterprises, Inc., (DXPE), No. 18 on the list of MDM's top 40 industrial distributors, reported sales for the second quarter 2010 were up 15.9 percent to $22.9 million; excluding the acquisition of Quadna, sales were up 6.6 percent.

Profit for the second quarter was $4.5 million, up from $2.16 million in the prior-year period.
Sales for the first six months of the year were $314.3 million, up 4.1 percent from the year-ago period. Excluding Quadna, sales for the first half of 2010 were down 0.4 percent. Profit was $8.17 million.
