Jergens Industrial Supply Acquires the John M. Allen Company

The John M. Allen Company is a value-added distributor of metalworking consumables.

Jergens Industrial Supply, Cleveland, OH, a division of Jergens, Inc., has acquired the John M. Allen Company. The John M. Allen Company is a value-added distributor of metalworking consumables.

JIS and John M. Allen Company offer many of the same services in the same sector, including technical service and product training programs, vendor and usage control programs, inventory management, and cost saving analysis.

“By bringing together JIS and the John M. Allen Company, we will be able to leverage the knowledge, experiences and relationships both companies have within the marketplace to better serve manufacturing end users not only in northeast Ohio, but nationwide,” says Matt Schron, JIS general manager. The acquisition also gives JIS the opportunity to partner with additional metal cutting industry suppliers.
