BlackHawk Industrial Distribution Inc., Tulsa, OK, No. 28 on MDM's list of the top 40 industrial distributors, has acquired EF Bailey Co., Seattle, WA, an industrial distributor in the metal working industry serving the MRO market. Terms were not disclosed.

EF Bailey is the seventh acquisition of BlackHawk Industrial, expanding BlackHawk's footprint into the U.S. Pacific Northwest.

EF Bailey distributes cutting tools, abrasives, fluids and engineered product along with a wide variety of MRO supplies to end users primarily in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

“BlackHawk will continue to look for additional U.S.-based industrial distributors to acquire as we further build out our business," said Bill Scheller, CEO of BlackHawk Industrial.

"EF Bailey offers many services that will be expanded as a part of BlackHawk Industrial. We believe that the EF Bailey customer base will now have the ability to reach new markets and have access to new locations and a more complete comprehensive vending and other inventory management systems,” Scheller said.
