Border States Electric, Fargo, ND, has agreed to acquire The UtiliCor Corp. with locations in Jackson and Nashville, TN.

UtiliCor is a sales and service company for electrical and communications products, exclusively serving the utility market of the Tennessee Valley Authority, Arkansas and the Bootheel of Missouri since 2002. UtiliCor will continue to operate under the UtiliCor name as a division of BSE.

BSE, No. 8 on MDM’s 2013 list of top electrical distributors, supplies products and services to construction, industrial and utility customers. Border States Electric has about 1,500 employees and 55 branches in 13 states.
