Brady Corp. (NYSE: BRC), Milwaukee, WI, has acquired Securimed SAS, a direct marketer of first-aid supplies and related products, located in Coudekerque, France. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Securimed sells its products primarily through the internet and via mail order catalogs to administrative and corporate health and safety departments predominantly in France. Sales were approximately US$12 million in fiscal 2009.

Brady Corp. manufactures products to identify and protect premises, products and people, including high-performance labels and signs, safety devices, printing systems and software, and precision die-cut materials. Brady’s fiscal 2009 sales were $1.2 billion.
