DXP Enterprises Acquires National Process Equipment in Canada

According to DXP, acquisition makes distributor largest rotating equipment distributor in North America.

Houston, TX-based DXP Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE) has acquired National Process Equipment Inc., a Canadian distributor of pumps, service and repairs, integrated system packaging, compressors and related process equipment.

DXP Enterprises is No. 18 on MDM’s list of the top 40 industrial distributors.

Natpro is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, and operates out of eight locations across Eastern and Western Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia.  Natpro is focused on serving customers in the oil & gas, mining, municipal, fire and general industrial markets. Natpro has 190 employees. Natpro operates in all regions and provinces in Canada and

Sales and pro-forma adjusted EBITDA of Natpro for the last 12 months ending March 31, 2013, were $69 million and $5 million, respectively.
