Eastern Industrial Supplies Inc., Greenville, SC, a wholesale distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, plumbing, and industrial specialties, has agreed to acquire privately held PVF distributor M&R Pipe and Supply Inc., Birmingham, AL. Terms were not disclosed.
The purchase helps Eastern Industrial – which has 15 branches in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee – strengthen its footprint in Birmingham and the Southeastern U.S.
“This acquisition is in line with our strategic efforts to strengthen our base of business, reinforce customer support and improve operational efficiencies," said Kip Miller, president and CEO of Eastern.
