ERIKS, through its subsidiary ERIKS Hessen GmbH, has acquired technical distribution company Klaus Technische Grosshandlung GmbH, Hanau, near Frankfurt in Germany.

The acquired business supplies industrial products and components, with a focus on industrial hoses and accessories, seals, tools and pumps to OEM and MRO customers.

ERIKS is an international industrial service provider offering mechanical engineering components and associated technical and logistics services. ERIKS’ product range is divided into five activities; flow technology, sealing technology, bearing and power transmission, including electromechanical services and condition monitoring, industrial plastics, and tools and maintenance products.

ERIKS consists of more than 65 companies with branches in 27 countries serving more than 200,000 customers. In 2012, ERIKS had net sales of €1.8 billion.
