Jergens Industrial Supply, Cleveland, OH, a division of Jergens Inc., has acquired certain assets of Gray Industrial Supply, excluding the high pressure hydraulic equipment distribution and service center but including web-based Spectrum Supply. With the purchase, JIS continues to build its business within 200 miles of Cleveland and is now able to offer customers the value-added service of band saw blade welding.

Gray Industrial Supply manufactures and supplies the global market with a full range of band saw blades for the industrial, food processing and hobby markets. Matt Schron, JIS general manager, said the purchase gives JIS the opportunity to improve customer efficiency by providing blade turnaround in 48 hours.

Spectrum Supply will continue to serve as the web-based marketing arm of Gray Industrial Supply, and for JIS, for the foreseeable future.
