Morrison Supply Co., Fort Worth, TX, has acquired Santa Monica, CA-based Express Pipe & Supply Co. Inc.

Morrison Supply is No. 7 on MDM's list of top HVAC/plumbing distributors. With the acquisition, the distributor extends its Southwest platform into the recovering California residential and commercial construction market.

Express Pipe & Supply has 12 branches and a dedicated focus on residential plumbing. Morrison’s acquisition of Express represents the company’s first significant acquisition in the Southern California market and underscores Morrison’s continuing strategy of growth through acquisitions and through the opening of new locations.

Express will continue to operate under its existing brand name.
