Rexnord (NYSE: RXN), Milwaukee, WI, has acquired LWG Specialised Plumbing Products from Hills Holdings Ltd. (ASX: HIL). LWG is an Australia-based provider of plumbing solutions for the non-residential construction market.
LWG has been a distributor of select Zurn brand products for more than 20 years. The company has six warehouse locations throughout Australia and annual sales of $14 million. LWG distributes stainless steel fixtures, tapware, back flow prevention devices, pressure reducing valves and flushing systems.
“The acquisition allows us to further penetrate the nonresidential construction market by expanding the portfolio of Zurn products sold in Australia as well as giving us access to key LWG distributed products to complement the existing Zurn offering in North America,” said Craig Wehr, president of Zurn Industries.
Rexnord is comprised of two strategic platforms, process & motion control and water management, with approximately 7,300 employees worldwide. The process & motion control platform manufactures specified, highly-engineered mechanical components used within complex systems. The water management platform manufactures products that provide and enhance water quality, safety, flow control and conservation.
