Valin Corp., San Jose, CA, has merged with Lang Engineering Equipment Co., also in San Jose. By merging with Lang, Valin adds an expanded selection of pumps, filters and refueling equipment to its portfolio of products and services.

Lang Engineering focuses on small process pumps, filters, filtration systems, heat exchange systems, transfer, metering, OEM's and refueling equipment. Joseph Nettemeyer, president and CEO of Valin, said Lang's knowledge of pumps and filtration equipment will help the company to expand its business and customer base.

“The most significant aspect of this merger is that it expands Valin’s business into the aviation industry,” Nettemeyer said. “We can now provide solutions in the form of complete turnkey fueling, pump and filtration systems, a service which was beyond our capabilities up until now.”
