For today’s episode, we were joined again by Kevin Holleran, president of E-Z-GO.
E-Z-GO received the Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence in 2009 and within that same year, the company’s Augusta facility was named one of Industry Week magazine’s top 10 manufacturing plants in North America. During our discussion, Kevin shared his insights into what has led to such award-winning success within his own organization.
E-Z-GO provides light transportation, building thousands of vehicles each year from its world headquarters in Augusta. E-Z-GO builds dozens of unique vehicle models under the E-Z-GO, Cushman and Bad Boy Buggies brands. Besides the golf cars with which it is often identified, E-Z-GO also manufactures utility vehicles for work and recreation, personnel shuttles and material-handling machines.
