This has sped up the adoption of mobile technologies in wholesale distribution, but with the increased use comes increased security risks.

Here are three tips to keep in mind when considering the security of your company’s data:

- Make sure you consider the knowledge your customers or suppliers have about your company. Protect that with an agreement and how that data can or cannot be used.
- Social media relationships – such as those on LinkedIn – should be included in any employment agreement. Employers may need to restrict how those contacts are used post-employment.
