Reddwerks Corporation, the leading supplier of event-driven, Internet-enabled WMS and WCS software and solutions, announced that Fernando Viscarra has joined the sales team as Vice President, National Accounts. Previously with CVM Solutions, Viscarra is a very senior sales executive with 25 year experience in and around supply chain software.

Since 2006, Fernando was Corporate Director of Business Development at CVM, a company that provides supplier management solutions, where he engaged in direct sales with named Fortune 1000 and major accounts on the West Coast. Prior to CVM, he held posts as Global Major Accounts Manager for Dun & Bradstreet and National Account Executive at Freemarkets, a software company providing eCommerce technology and services. Some of his customers at these companies included Apple, McKesson, Cisco, Nestle, Telefonica, Sony and Longs Drug Stores. From 1998 – 2001, he was Western Regional Account Executive for supply chain management software developer, Manugistics where he continuously achieved and surpassed his annual sales quota, including wins at Amazon.com.

Before joining Manugistics, Fernando was Director of Business Development at AIM Systems, a company that sold software development for Warehouse Management Systems, Inventory Control and Point-of-Sale, that was originally acquired by IBM. He was responsible for selling complete solutions to large retail companies and major store chains in the tier I and tier II segments. In that capacity, he secured customers such as Radio Shack, Piggly Wiggly, Timex and JCPenney.

“We are very happy to have Fernando join,” said Jean Bélanger, Founder and CEO at Reddwerks Corporation. “His strong supply chain, eCommerce and WMS technology background allows him to hit the ground running, calling on tier-one retailers with massive distribution facilities that are looking for a truly event-driven order fulfillment solution.”

Fernando received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Utah State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cal Poly University. He also plays racquetball for racquetball equipment manufacturer, E-Force.  He will head Reddwerks’ San Francisco sales office.

Reddwerks is based in Austin TX with an R&D office in Guatemala and sales in Nashville, St. Louis and San Francisco.  The company develops and sells the market’s only dynamic, event-driven order fulfillment solutions, designed to manage all the labor, equipment and material flow used to process orders in large-scale distribution facilities. Whether distribution facilities are fulfilling online direct-to-consumer orders or helping retailers stock their store shelves, Reddwerks real-time WMS and WCS software increases productivity to such an extent that customers typically realize a payback in less than one year. Reddwerks WMS and WCS software takes into account all the material handling equipment necessary to provide a fully integrated warehouse controls (WCS) solution in addition to all of the WMS functionality, resulting in dynamic, real-time assignment-based solutions. Over 60% of Reddwerks’ annual revenues are from existing customers engaging us in helping them increase productivity across their distribution network.  For more information, visit www.reddwerks.com .
