Avery Dennison Corp. (NYSE:AVY) has reported sales for the second quarter of $1.6 billion, up 5.5 percent over the previous year. Profit increased 51 percent to $120.9 million.
Sales for the label and graphic materials segment increased 5.5 percent to $1.1 billion.
Sales for the first six months were $3.2 billion, up 5.7 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 37.4 percent to $233.1 million.
