Maintenance and cleaning chemicals manufacturer Zep Inc. (NYSE: ZEP), Atlanta, GA, is consolidating its North American commercial organizations under the leadership of Steve Nichols and Joe Seladi to align product and market development organizations.

Nichols will become group president and have responsibility for Zep’s industrial & institutional businesses including Zep’s North American sales & service, Zep's vehicle care, Zep's distribution, Zep's industrial, Zep's energy, Zep's food and Zep's government and export divisions, including sales and marketing to customers who purchase directly, through distribution or as a strategic account customer.

Seladi will also become a group president, with responsibility for Zep’s automotive and retail businesses. Seladi joined Zep Inc. in the 2010 acquisition of Amrep Inc. where he previously served as CEO.

“These changes … will enhance our customer experience, streamline our cost structure and create a culture of continuous improvement,” John Morgan, president and CEO, said.

In conjunction with the alignment, Darrin Baum has been promoted to vice president, general manager Zep vehicle care. This announcement will also mark the move from Amrep to Zep Inc. as a go-to-market identity, with specialized brands under the Zep Inc. umbrella.
