American Plastics/Waggoner Plastics will become one of Curbell’s 16 sales and distribution facilities in the U.S. The acquisition will further strengthen Curbell’s national presence, and will allow Curbell to provide exclusive products, local inventory and regional expertise to customers in key markets and specialized industries.
“As we work together to increase our market presence, we are committed to investing in our facilities, our equipment and our people to provide the best service to the region,” said Sam Martin, president of Curbell Plastics Inc. “The acquisition further expands the reach of Curbell Plastics’ broad product line and exceptional customer service within Texas and other markets, while also offering a trusted channel to market for our supplier base.”
In addition to growing the company’s geographic footprint, the acquisition will strengthen Curbell’s capabilities in a number of industries, including orthotics and prosthetics, oil and gas, and aerospace. Curbell also has plans for capital investment and infrastructure improvements designed to improve the customer buying experience.
Waggoner Plastics is a supplier of precision engineered and machined parts to the aerospace industry. American Plastics has been a supplier of plastic sheet and related products for more than 25 years. American Plastics supplies the orthotic and prosthetic industry.
