Distribution International, Inc., Houston, TX, has acquires Insulation Services, Inc., Greenville, SC. ISI is a single-site distributor of thermal and acoustic insulation products. The ISI location will merge into the existing DI location in Piedmont, SC.
“Our recent asset purchase of ISI further strengthens our position in the South Carolina market," said Robert Hlavenka, vice president and general manager of Distribution International USA. "We welcome Randy Spencer who brings us over 20 years of knowledge in the mechanical insulation industry as well as strong relationships with customers and vendors.”
Spencer, formerly director of operations at ISI, will continue as anoutside sales representative with DI.
