The Fastenal Co. of Winona, MN, (Nasdaq: FAST), No. 7 on MDM’s list of the top 40 industrial distributors, reported April sales of $286.6 million, an increase of 9.8 percent compared to April 2012.
Daily sales were $13 million, up 4.8 percent from year-ago levels.
April manufacturing customer daily sales grew 5.1 percent and non-residential construction customers grew 0.4 percent.
