Wolseley plc (LSE: WOS) company Ferguson Enterprises Inc., Newport News, VA, has acquired Fluid Systems Hawaii Inc. The acquired company operates from a single location near Honolulu and distributes underground water supply and wastewater drainage products to Oahu, Maui and other Hawaiian islands.

"The company was a good fit for our waterworks business since they already have experienced industry personnel and an established location," said Ferguson CEO Frank Roach.

Fluid Systems Hawaii Branch Manager Calvin Okinaka said, "Our customers will ultimately benefit from the new relationship by being able to tap into Ferguson's expanded product offering and vast distribution network."

Ferguson has 194 waterworks locations and 1,600 associates serving utility contractors, municipalities and plant and sitework contractors.
