GHX Industrial Acquires Flowline Components & Flowline OEM Group

Flowline has two branches in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Houston-based GHX Industrial, a subsidiary of The United Distribution Group, has acquired Flowline Components Inc. and Flowline OEM Group Inc.

Flowline operates two branches in Baltimore, MD, and Greencastle, PA, and is a distributor of fabricated hose, MRO products and other related products.

Flowline’s core customer base has historically consisted of agriculture, construction and food and beverage OEMs.

“Expanding our service area throughout the U.S. and Canada is an ongoing strategic focus for GHX and the acquisition of the Flowline locations complements our already strong North American presence,” said Darrell Cole, president & CEO of The United Distribution Group.

In recent months, GHX has also consolidated its Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, FL, branches into a newly constructed, 25,000 square foot facility in Loxley, AL.  The company has also opened a new 18,000-square-foot facility in Houston, TX.

In addition, McCarty Equipment Company, a subsidiary of GHX Industrial has recently established a location in Dickinson, ND, which along with its Williston branch accounts for two locations in the state of North Dakota.

GHX now operates 40 branches in 15 states and provinces throughout the U.S. and Canada.

With 62 locations throughout North America, the subsidiaries of The United Distribution Group are providers of products and services to a variety of industries including oil & gas, mining, power generation, petrochemical, agriculture, marine and various other industries.
