Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), Englewood, CO, announced that Jeffrey Eastman will become president of Americas Components, effective January 1, 2013. Eastman will succeed Vinnie Vellucci, who will retire in 2013 after nearly 44 years with Arrow.

Eastman joined Arrow through an acquisition in 1983 and has held six different vice president positions, including responsibilities for supplier services, sales, marketing and product management. Eastman has served as senior vice president of global supplier marketing and asset management since 2008, and was responsible for managing worldwide supplier relationships for Arrow.
