Kaman Industrial Technologies President to Retire

Cahill will end his 35-year career with KIT in August.

The president of Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp., a subsidiary of Bloomfield, CT-based Kaman Corp. (Nasdaq: KAMN), has announced his retirement. T. Jack Cahill will retire on Aug. 31, 2010, after 17 years in that post. Steven J. Smidler, senior vice president and COO, will assume the role of president following Cahill’s departure.

Cahill joined Kaman in Denver as a salesman in 1975 and worked in the Western U.S. During his tenure as president the company’s sales more than doubled.

KIT is a distributor of bearings, power transmission, fluid power, motion control and automation products with more than 200 branches in the U. S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
