HVAC distributor Watsco Inc. (NYSE: WSO), Miami, FL, reported sales for the first quarter of $872.1 million, up 2.4 percent from the previous year. Profit was $26.2 million, up 2.5 percent.
Sales of HVAC equipment increased 3 percent in the quarter, commercial refrigeration products increased 5 percent and other HVAC products were up 3 percent.
