European building materials supplier Saint-Gobain has consolidated its two performance plastics Isofluor manufacturing operations into one new facility in Neuss, Germany.
The company began operations at the new Neuss ISO 9001:2008 certified facility in June following a phased relocation. Previously, PTFE extrusion operations were housed in Sperberweg, while all other operations occurred at a separate facility in Neuss.
"With all employees now under one roof, we are able to optimize production and work processes,” said Thomas Rong, plant manager. “Our new facility has allowed us to expand our service to include coating of long pipes, a cooled mixing room and storage for PTFE and an enhanced technical environment.”
