Julie Stewart, Director of E-Commerce, Hisco
Julie Stewart is the director of e-commerce at Hisco, an industrial distributor for the electronics assembly, aerospace and medical device manufacturing markets. Stewart began her e-commerce career as an internet marketing assistant for All-Spec Industries, an e-commerce-only distributor to the electronics assembly market. Over the next few years, Stewart supported the company’s evolution as All-Spec grew to become a successful online distributor through SEO, SEM and a customer-centric website. All-Spec Industries was acquired by Hisco in early 2014 and Stewart was instrumental to the development of Hisco.com during the months that followed. Since February 2015, Stewart has been responsible for customer acquisition, as well as driving conversion and customer experience for both All-Spec.com and Hisco.com.
Karie Daudt, Senior Director of Marketing, Insite Software
Karie Daudt is senior director of marketing for Insite Software, a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) commerce and data-driven solutions for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. Her experience includes more than two decades in product management, business development and marketing for manufacturing and distribution organizations. She has provided strategic leadership for global suppliers and brands resulting in innovative techniques for improving the customer experience overall, reducing cost of sales and accelerating efficiencies within complex buying and selling scenarios.

Eric joined MDM as Associate Editor in September 2014. A native of Memphis, TN, Eric is an award-winning journalist who earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rhodes College. Among his many writing stints, he has worked as a sports reporter in Alaska, and also has written for a children's hospital and major university. Prior to joining MDM, he spent close to eight years as a business reporter and editor for The Daily News in Memphis – renowned as America's Distribution Center – where he covered logistics, distribution and commercial real estate.
