Machine tool consumption is mixed story
Product DetailsDecember U.S. machine tool consumption totaled $220.88 million, according to the Association For Manufacturing Technology and the American Machine Tool Distributors' Association. This total, as reported by companies participating in the USMTC program, was up 15.4% from November, and up 10.8% from the total of $199.43 million reported for December 2002. With a year-end total of $1,993.00 million, 2003 is down 7.9% compared to 2002.
