Stock Acquires Davis Homes Wholesale

of building materials to professionals in the w:st=”on”>U.S., has acquired the Wholesale Division of
Davis Homes, in w:st=”on”>Indianapolis, w:st=”on”>IN.

is the sole supplier of roof trusses, wall panels, door assemblies, framing
lumber, windows, sub-flooring, interior and exterior trim, roofing, and
sheathing for Davis Homes, which builds in the w:st=”on”>Indianapolis area. For the year ending Dec. 31,
2005, Davis Wholesale reported sales of $19.4 million.



 

The acquisition of Davis Homes Wholesale
marks Stock’s third in the state of w:st=”on”>Indiana. The acquisition adds 47 associates to
the Stock family. All senior management, including General Manager Randy Gaskin,
will remain with the company.

complement to our existing location in w:st=”on”>Franklin.’


 


Stock Building
Supply has 288 locations in 33 states with reported sales of $4.1 billion in
2005. Stock is a subsidiary of target=_blank>Wolseley plc of Theale, England, which had sales in 2005 of
more than $20 billion.
