MRO distributor Strategic Distribution Inc., Bristol, PA, reported its revenues for the three months ended March 31, 2006, increased $7.7 million, or 26.5%, to $36.7 million from $29 million in the same period last year. The company recorded a net loss of $1.096 million, compared with a net loss of $1.601 million for the same period in 2005.
Revenues from existing customers increased by $6.9 million in the first quarter, due to an increase in volume of product sales compared with the same period in 2005. These increases were offset by a $0.3 million reduction in revenues for a closed site. New customers accounted for $1.1 million in revenue.
