Hubbell Inc. (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB), Shelton, CT, reported sales for the second quarter of $874 million, an increase of 2 percent over the same period a year ago. Profit declined 11.2 percent to $80.1 million.
For the first six months, sales were $1.7 billion, up 4 percent from the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 7.7 percent to $142.5 million.
