Kaman Corp. (NYSE: KAMN), Bloomfield, CT, reported second-quarter sales of $470.6 million, up 5.4 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 24 percent to $16.5 million.
Distribution sales declined 5.9 percent for the second quarter to $286.1 million. Aerospace sales grew 29.7 percent to $184.6 million.
For the first six months, sales were $921.8 million, up 3.7 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 23.7 percent to $26.3 million.
