RBC Bearings Inc. (NASDAQ: ROLL), Oxford, CT, reported sales for the third quarter of $144.2 million, an increase of 35.6 percent from the previous year. Profit for the quarter increased 21.3 percent to $17 million.
For the first nine months of the fiscal year, sales were $435.2 million, a 31.1 percent increase from the previous year. The company reported a profit of $45 million year-to-date, an increase of 3.8 percent from the same period the year before.
