The Manitowoc Co. Inc. (NYSE: MTW), Manitowoc, WI, reported sales for 2016 of $1.6 billion, a decrease of 13.5 percent from the previous year. The company reported a loss of $375.8 million, as compared to a profit of $65.5 million in 2015.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $378.2 million, a 30.4 percent decrease from the same period a year ago. The company reported a loss of $33.4 million, as compared to a profit of $43.5 million in the previous fourth quarter.
