Manufacturer Rockwell Automation Inc. (NYSE: ROK), Milwaukee, WI, reported sales for the fiscal third quarter ended June 30 of $1.5 billion, a 6.4 percent decrease year-over-year. Organic sales declined 4.8 percent. Profit decreased 7.3 percent to $191 million.
Fiscal year-to-date sales were $4.3 billion, down 7.6 percent over the prior-year period. Profit decreased 13.1 percent to $544.5 million.
