Motion Industries Appoints Two New Group Leaders

Richard Burmester, Austin Amos to lead Southwest, Midwest groups.

Motion Industries, Birmingham, AL, No. 6 on MDM’s 2013 list of the top 40 industrial distributors, announced two group executive promotions as part of the company’s field organization changes, according to Tim Breen, Motion Industries’ president and COO.

Richard Burmester has been named senior vice president and group executive for the realigned Southwest sales group. Burmester most recently served the company as division manager for the Nashville division.

Austin Amos has been named senior vice president and group executive of the newly formed Midwest sales group. Amos most recently served the St. Louis division as division manager.
