Hubbell Inc. (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB), Shelton, CT, reported sales for the second quarter of $948.3 million, an increase of 4.3 percent over the same period a year ago. Profit fell 2.5 percent to $79.1 million.
For the first six months, sales were $1.8 billion, up 3.3 percent from the same period a year ago. Profit was flat at $141.9 million.
