Huttig Building Products Inc. (NASDAQ: HBP), St. Louis, MO, a distributor of millwork, building materials and wood products, reported second quarter sales of $198.7 million, up 0.4 percent over the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 78.8 percent to $2.2 million.
For the first six months, sales were $374.4 million, up 5 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 89 percent to $1.3 million.
