Anixter International Inc. (NYSE: AXE), Glenview, IL, has appointed Bill Simon and Charles Swoboda to its board of directors, effective March 1, 2019.
Simon is the former president and chief executive officer (2010 to 2014) and former chief operating officer (2007 to 2010) of Walmart U.S. Swoboda was chairman (2005 to 2017) and chief executive officer (2001 to 2017) of Cree Inc.
