Swedish industrial manufacturer Atlas Copco says acquisition of Eugen Theis GmbH will expand presence in Germany.

Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco this week announced two acquisitions — Purification Solutions LLC, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based compressed air and gas solutions provider, and Kawalek Kompressoren, a German-based compressed air distributor and service provider.

Purification Solutions LLC — operating under the brand name nano purification solutions — is a privately owned U.S.-based company whose 2019 revenues were $26 million. Kawalek Kompressoren is a privately owned company and has 10 employees.

Atlas Copco said the purchase prices of both companies were not material relative to Atlas Copco’s market capitalization and is not disclosed. Each new addition will become part of the service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
