SRS Distribution Inc., McKinney, Texas, announced Friday it has acquired C.C. Supply, a distributor of residential and commercial roofing, siding, windows and doors, and other related products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Barberton, Ohio, C.C. Supply was founded in the early 1970s by Tony Crookston Jr. and is currently owned and managed by three of his sons — Tony Crookston III, Dan Crookston and Larry Crookston Sr. The company also operates two other Ohio locations in Akron and Wooster. The Crookston brothers will assist with transition of the business, ensuring continuity and consistency for the company’s customers, suppliers, and employees.
“We are honored to welcome the legendary Crookston family and the entire C.C. team to the SRS family,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution. “The addition of C.C. Supply represents a strategic opportunity to expand our presence in an existing market, while gaining a new and loyal customer base. By combining the local relationships and knowledge of C.C. Supply with the resources of SRS, we will further enhance the company’s reputation for delivering outstanding customer service and provide new growth opportunities for all employees.”
The three co-owners of C.C. Supply said, collectively: “It is our pleasure to announce this exciting partnership with SRS. Since our father founded the company almost 50 years ago, we have worked diligently to create a highly respected business with a legacy of always putting our customers and employees first. Our founder and father said it best, ‘We don’t judge our success in dollars and cents, but in the value we bring to our customers.’ In SRS we have found a partner that will continue that tradition, treat our people like family, and provide C.C. Supply with the necessary resources to achieve the next level of success.”
