Plumbing Distributors, Inc. Acquires W.A. Bragg

The company says the deal will play a critical role in PDI’s Southeastern expansion plans by expanding locations in Georgia.
On July 20, Chicago-based pneumatic and hydraulic accessories manufacturer Milton Industries announced the acquisition of Casey Tools and Lock Technologies.

Plumbing Distributors, Inc. announced it has acquired kitchen, bath, lighting and irrigation retailer W.A. Bragg & Co.

PDI said the acquisition will play an essential role in its Southeastern U.S. expansion plans by expanding its locations to serve Georgia cities of Alpharetta, Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Evans, Lake Oconee, Lawrenceville, McDonough, Milledgeville, Pooler, Statesboro, Vidalia, Warner Robins, and Woodstock; Aiken and Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Nashville and White House, Tennessee. PDI’s headquarters are in Augusta, Georgia.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

“We are proud to bring the Bragg team into the PDI family,” said Coley Herrin, CEO of PDI. “This acquisition will have a significant and positive impact on our strategic growth initiatives.”

PDI has been a growing wholesale distributor and kitchen, bath and lighting retailer since 1973.
