Singer Industrial is now an AD member.

AD — contractor and industrial supplies wholesale buying group — said April 30 that Houston-based distributor Singer Industrial has joined the AD Bearings & Power Transmission division, effective May 1.

Singer is a distributor of industrial rubber and fluit power products that include hose & accessories, gaskets, sheet rubber, conveyor belting & accessories, hydraulic & pneumatic components and other industrial supplies. The company has over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada, backed by over 1,400 employees.

Rebranded from SBP Holdings during early 2023, Singer was formed in 1999 with the purchase of AD member Hampton Rubber. The company has rapidly grown since — especially recently — by acquiring fellow distributors. Singer made 10 acquisitions during 2023. MOst recently, Singer acquired Ft. Worth, TX-based Hose Tech USA (announced Feb. 2) and Greenville, SC-based HOSER Inc. (announced Jan. 2), while its Dakota Fluid Power subsidiary expanded in the Omaha, NE region.

On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, Singer Industrial was No. 4 for Hose/Hose Accessories, No. 15 for Fluid Power and No. 40 for Industrial.
