Wesco Aircraft Organic Sales Up 6% in 3Q

Overall, sales for the aerospace and fasteners distributor increased 72 percent year-over-year.

Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. (NYSE: WAIR), Valencia, CA, reported sales for the third quarter ended June 30 of $395.6 million, a year-over-year increase of 72 percent. Organic sales increased 6 percent. Profit increased 6.7 percent to $28.8 million.

Sales for the first nine months of fiscal 2014 were $947.7 million, an increase of 42 percent compared to the prior year period. Profit increased 3.6 percent to $77.5 million.

Wesco Aircraft is a distributor and provider of comprehensive supply chain management services to the global aerospace industry.
