The newly formed Edgen Murray General Steels & Profiling Division, Lanarkshire, Scotland, operates in a recently expanded warehouse with five DNC/CAD-controlled, multi-head oxy fuel and high def plasma machines. In addition to profiling, shearing and mechanical cutting services are also provided from this location.
“We find that our customers increasingly look for a single source for the procurement, supply and finish of highly engineered and customized specialty steel products, particularly for demanding offshore structural applications,” said David Kemp, Edgen Murray’s vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mark Allard, managing director of Eterniti’s profiling business, will join the Edgen Murray team as director of Edgen Murray's General Steels & Profiling Division, along with his sales and operations staff.
