Anixter Moves European DC to Lichfield, U.K.

New flagship distribution center is companys largest in Europe.

Anixter International Inc. (NYSE: AXE), Glenview, IL, moved its flagship European distribution center to Lichfield, West Midlands, U.K. The facility replaces the company’s previous Birmingham, U.K., facility.

At approximately 213,000 square feet, the center is Anxiter’s largest in Europe, serving markets in the U.K. as well as mainland Europe.
